Captured in 2017, edited in 2019, "Secadeiro" is about an artisanal way of drying fish, tipical in the coast of Portugal, as well in Galicia (Spain), where I am. Shot in a road trip along the coast of Portugal.
The day I shot this photos, I woke up early in Nazaré, a small village that has experimented a fast change and chaotic development after become a famous big waves surf spot. There, I found a group of old women working at the beach since first hour in the morning and they captivated me with their abilities and their unstressed way of working. So, before people arrived to see what was going on, I shot this pictures.

O día que fixen estas fotos, espertei cedo en Nazaré, unha pequena vila que experimentou un cambio e desenvolvimento caótico tras convertirse en destino turístico e nun famoso spot de olas grandes. Alí atopei un grupo de mulleres traballando na praia desde primeira hora da mañá e chamáronme a atención coas súas habilidades e a súa forma de traballar relaxada pero sen descanso. Así que, antes de que chegase a xente a ver o que pasaba, disparei a cámara.
